Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReverseClip (“the Service”), operated by ReverseClip (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReverseClip is a competitor intelligence platform for content creators. The Service provides tools for tracking competitor social media accounts, analyzing video content, discovering content patterns, and generating AI-powered scripts. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm other individuals
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code

5. Subscription Plans & Credits

The Service offers tiered subscription plans with varying credit allocations, competitor limits, and feature access. Credits reset at the beginning of each 30-day billing period. Unused credits do not roll over. Plan limits and pricing are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

6. AppSumo Lifetime Deals

Users who purchase a lifetime deal through AppSumo receive perpetual access to the Service at the tier purchased, subject to these Terms. Lifetime deals include all features available at the time of purchase and any future updates to those features. We reserve the right to set reasonable usage limits to prevent abuse. Lifetime deal codes must be redeemed within 60 days of purchase.

7. Payment & Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our Refund Policy. We may change our fees with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by ReverseClip and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service (e.g., generated scripts). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Service collects and analyzes publicly available social media data. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party data. You acknowledge that social media platforms may change their data availability at any time.

10. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze content and generate scripts. AI-generated content is provided as-is and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before use. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, originality, or suitability of AI-generated content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReverseClip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the actions of third-party platforms whose data we access.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
